Deputy Appeals - Property Tax's what I do!
Tired of paying too much Property Tax?
Me too! My name is John Collier, CIAO. I am a former Deputy Assessor for a township assessors office. The CIAO stands for Certified Illinois Assessing Officer. I am also a former REALTOR.
The last few years, I have assisted hundreds of taxpayers file assessment appeals. I also attended hundreds of Board of Review Appeal hearings to defend the assessors office position. What I saw there was really amazing, and at times, saddening.
Real Estate Attorneys are making thousands of dollars for a 15 minute meeting for preparing property tax appeals for township residents. True - they may have paid for an appraisal, but that should only cost a few hundred dollars at most, and most of them pass that cost on to their clients. So where does the rest go?
That is when I decided to help tax payers file assessment appeals on their own behalf.
For about $150-$250 on most residential properties - I will help you file your appeal, negotiate with the assessor, assemble the comparable reports, prepare you for the hearing if you choose to attend, and do all the math needed to calculate your indicated land and building values.  It could save you many times what I ask for my services, and you can also save in the years to follow from this one single appeal.
We are all trying to survive in a down economy. Don't give your money away. Keep as much as you can! This Deputy will help you fight for what's yours!
I hope to hear from you soon! Please use the contact form on this website. Provide me with your contact information and property address that you want to appeal.
